Ongoing, Not One-Time
Digestive symptoms are often tied to diet, stress, or other conditions, and we track patterns over time rather than treating one visit in isolation.
Coordinated Specialist Care
When a symptom needs a specialist's evaluation, we help coordinate the referral rather than leaving you to figure out the next step alone.
Broad Insurance Access
We accept most major insurance plans, including Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, Cigna, Medicare, and Medicaid.
Start With a Conversation
Book a Digestive Health Assessment
If you've been dealing with heartburn, bloating, irregular bowel habits, or stomach discomfort that keeps coming back, it's worth talking to a provider rather than waiting it out. Your provider will review your symptoms, diet, and history, then help figure out whether the issue can be managed through primary care or whether it calls for further testing or a specialist.

Getting to the Root of It
How We Diagnose Digestive Issues
Figuring out what's behind a digestive symptom starts with a detailed conversation about what you're experiencing, when it happens, and what makes it better or worse. From there, your provider may recommend dietary changes, order lab work, or suggest a trial of medication to see how your symptoms respond.
If your symptoms suggest something that needs a closer look, such as a colonoscopy or a specialist evaluation, your provider will coordinate that referral and stay involved as part of your ongoing care.

Frequently Asked Questions
If you have heartburn more than twice a week, or it's not improving with over-the-counter antacids, it's worth having it evaluated rather than just managing it on your own. Frequent reflux can sometimes point to GERD, which benefits from a treatment plan rather than ongoing self-treatment.
Primary care can manage many cases of IBS, especially when symptoms are mild to moderate and respond to diet and lifestyle changes. If your symptoms are severe, aren't improving, or your provider wants to rule out other conditions first, they'll coordinate a referral to a GI specialist.
The U.S. Preventive Services Task Force recommends most adults at average risk start colorectal cancer screening at age 45. If you have a family history of colorectal cancer or other risk factors, your provider may recommend starting earlier. Talk to your provider about which screening option makes sense for you.
We don't perform colonoscopies in our office, but your provider can talk through your screening options and coordinate a referral to a GI specialist for the procedure, staying involved in your care throughout the process.
