Meet Rashmi Juneja

Dr. Juneja attended Gandhi Medical College in Bhopal, India and is a board certified internal medicine specialist. She completed her residency at State University of New York at Buffalo in New York. She is highly trained and sub-specializes in cardiovascular diseases, GI, endocrinology, and women’s health. She has been practicing in West Michigan since 1999.

Dr. Goodman completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Michigan and received his medical degree from Michigan State University. He fulfilled his residency in Family Medicine. Dr. Goodman is also the coordinator/speaker for Health Recovery Program.

Meet Sarah Ames

Sarah Ames, NP, is a Certified Nurse Practitioner who has worked with patients experiencing a variety of acute conditions –  from Pneumonia to knee replacement, post operative care, and stroke and dementia treatment. Part of her training focused on Women’s Health issues, including providing gynecologic care and testing. Sarah is also a Registered Nurse and received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Ferris State University. She went on to complete her Nurse Practitioner Degree from Spring Arbor University. Sarah is certified in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support, Basic Life Support and Acute Stroke Assessment. She is accepting patients at our Big Rapids practice.

Dennis Behler, PA, is a nationally certified Physician Assistant, with more than 10 years of experience in internal medicine and pain management. He received his undergraduate degree in health sciences from Grand Valley State University, and completed his Physician Assistant Masters degree at the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy. Dennis is accepting new patients at our Big Rapids and Reed City practices.

Meet Patti Bell

Patti Bell, FNP is excited to care for family medicine patients in the same community where she lives; Big Rapids! Patti received her Masters in Nursing from Chamberlain College of Nursing, and obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Ferris State University. Patti is a certified Rehabilitation Registered Nurse and also holds a Wound Care Certification from the Wound Care Education Institute. Patti is the Founder and President of the West Michigan Association of Rehabilitation Registered Nurses.

Meet Tifenie Harris

Tifenie Harris, DNP, completed her Doctorate of Nursing Practice at the University of Michigan, Flint and received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Ferris State University. Tifenie has 15 years experience as a registered nurse, and has worked in outpatient surgery, home care, long term care, and managed care of patients with chronic conditions. Tifenie is accepting Internal Medicine patients at our Canadian Lakes location.

Meet Dawn Giese

Dawn Giese, FNP, received her Associates in Nursing from Ferris State University and went on to complete her Bachelors and Masters in Nursing Education in addition to her Masters as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Chamberlain College of Nursing. Dawn has a wealth of healthcare experience, ranging from Public Health to cancer services, infection prevention, Walk-In care, and Occupational Medicine. Dawn holds the following certifications: Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Neonatal Resuscitation and is a Certified Lactation Counselor and a TB instructor for the State of Michigan. She is a  member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and  the American Nurses Credentialing Center.

Meet Casey Green

Casey Green, PA, is a Family Medicine Physician Assistant who will be caring for patients at our Reed City practice. Casey received her Bachelor of Science Degree, with highest honors, and went on to complete her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies – both degrees from Central Michigan University. The Evart native most recently worked at Spectrum Health Family Practice in Canadian Lakes, Big Rapids, and Reed City. Casey is certified in Basic Life Support and by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. She is dedicated to focusing on the health of rural residents, with an emphasis on managing chronic medical conditions and the mental health of her patients.

Meet Lisa Shoemaker

Lisa Shoemaker, FNP, is a Family Nurse Practitioner with decades of experience that ranges from specialized certification in Gerontology to Walk-In care, occupational health, oncology, inpatient psychiatric care, ER, medical-surgical care and quality and risk management. Lisa received her Master of Science – Leadership & Education, from Regis University in Denver, Colorado before obtaining her Master in Nursing Practice from Chamberlain College of Nursing in Chicago, Illinois. Lisa is certified in Basic Life Support, has served as a Professional Nurse Tutor, and has lead provider education for physicians, specialists, and other medical staff to improve systems that aid in quality and practice improvement.

Meet Shana Strantz

Shana Strantz, PA, obtained her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Central Michigan University after completing her Bachelor of Science in Psychology, with a Minor in Personal and Community Health, at Central Michigan University. Shana comes to us with more than 10 years of experience focused on Women’s Health. She most recently worked at Spectrum Health Gerber Memorial where she performed prenatal care, postpartum care, annual wellness visits, and a variety of gynecologic services. Shana is certified in Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, and Neonatal Resuscitation. She is also certified to perform colposcopies and Nexplanon and IUD insertions.

Meet Andrea Renas

Andrea Renas, RN, is a Big Rapids native who graduated from Big Rapids High School before continuing her education at Ferris State University. Andrea also completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Baker College in Cadillac. Andrea serves as our Care Manager. She helps connect patients with services, coordinates their care, and helps construct care plans, so our chronic care patients can better manage their healthcare. Andrea is not new to our team. She previously worked at our business partner, West Michigan Surgery Center. Andrea recently had a baby girl, and in her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family, shopping, and doing projects around her house and property with her husband.

Meet Nicole Urbon

Nicole Urbon, AGNP-C, is a Certified Nurse Practitioner with more than 10 years of nursing experience in home health care, including acute care and the management of chronic diseases. Nicole obtained her Associate Degree in Nursing from Montcalm Community College, followed by her Bachelor’s Degree and Master’s Degree in Nursing from Spring Arbor University. She is certified as a Nurse Practitioner through the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.

Meet Dawnette (Dawn) Eastway

With over 20 years of experience in patient care, Dawn is a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) specializing in primary care. She received her RN from Mid Michigan College in Mount Pleasant, Michigan, before earning her MSN FNP from Bradley University in Illinois. Dawn’s expertise encompasses a diverse range of clinical areas, including post-operative care, surgical services, and urology. Dawn has certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS). Her dedication to professional development is reflected in her active membership in the both the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) and the American Nursing Association (ANA). Dawn is driven by a passion for delivering quality care, fostering positive patient outcomes, and contributing to the advancement of nursing practice.

Meet Patricia (Patty) Jackson

Patty Jackson, PA-C, completed her Bachelor of Science in Nutritional Sciences at Michigan State University, and completed her Master of Physician Assistant Studies at Grand Valley State University. Growing up in Mecosta and completing the majority of her clinical experiences in rural Michigan settings, she is eager to form long-lasting relationships with her patients. In her free time, Patty enjoys spending time with her daughter and exploring all of the beautiful places that Michigan has to offer.

Meet Jessica Reed

Dr. Reed received her undergraduate degree in Neuroscience from the University of Miami in Florida and then received her medical degree from St. Matthew’s University School of Medicine in the Cayman Islands. She completed an internal medicine residency training program at Memorial Hospital in Hollywood, Florida. Following this, she moved back home to Michigan and currently works as a part time faculty at the Michigan State University College of Human Medicine. Dr. Reed enjoys wakeboarding and spending time with her family and cats.
